Who Is He?

He is Jesus, the Christ.

He is The Word, God, Love,

Power.

He is everything to us.

But we cannot follow Him, nor walk with Him through life.

Every promise we make ends in denial.

Because we have no power to fulfill them.

To keep a promise to Him, we must use His power, which we can accomplish only by denying ourselves.

Lord, I can do nothing without you!

When we deny our own power, completely, we are ready to be invaded by His Holy Spirit, to be conquered, to come to the end of ourselves, to take up His cross and follow Him.

We are finally in a state of destitution, poor in spirit, ready to receive all the risen Lord has for us.

When I can completely deny myself, and commit to Him in childlike faith, He breathes into me His Holy Spirit, and I am His forever.

Hallelujah!

As we humbly praise God, He gives us the whole world and the Kingdom of heaven. We can only imagine the happiness that lies ahead.

Not with our power but with His, We become the light of the world. To shine in the darkness so that others may also see and recognize the cost God paid.

The Cross!

May we always keep our eyes on the cross.

And thank God for His unequaled greatness, His love, and His willingness to pay for our rebellion, our sins, with his only Son.
